What is a Conversation Workshop?
The Conversation Workshop aims to bring together learners with the same objectives, language competence, and commitment who want to improve their communication skills and gain confidence in speaking Spanish.

¿How is that achieved?
It´s achieved by creating a friendly, secure, and pleasant environment where you can feel comfortable expressing yourself, without fear of making mistakes.
Confidence is a fundamental factor in maintaining enjoyable and effective conversations, so I initially focus on strengthening the bond between the learners through different activities.
¿Is this for me?
It is if:

You have some basic knowledge of Spanish (advanced beginner o intermediate).

You like learning with other people.

You want to improve your conversation skills.

You feel blocked and want to overcome difficulties.
¿What if I´m totally blocked and can´t talk at all, but understand a lot?
In this case, you can enroll as a listener and I can provide you extra help to give you the boost you need to feel confident. I can assure you it won’t take long before you start talking!
¿How does it work?
All the activities are oral activities that help you improve your conversation skills.

We set together very specific goals and actions.

We simulate real-life scenarios and conversations.

We approach grammar through brain-friendly conversations.

We use different conversation triggers like: videos, photos, comics, texts, songs, etc.

Depending on your needs you can practice with: oral presentations, debates, role plays, storytelling, escape rooms, riddles, etc.

Yes. The Conversation Workshop includes audiovisual and didactic materials such as infographics, visual dictionaries, work guides, comprehensive reading texts, etc. All the material I use is tailored to your needs.

This Conversation Workshop is different from a regular Conversation Club because we explore in depth your particular needs and tailor the conversations. Here are some benefits:
Feel motivated: Learning is a social activity. A conversation group helps you keep your spirits high and feel motivated during the process. Working with others is encouraging and an enriching experience. You want to improve because you meet with your group, you learn from your group, and your group learns from you.

Be consistent: By dedicating exclusive time to listening and speaking Spanish weekly you get yourself exposed to necessary input. Systematic and continuous practice is key in language learning.

Improve your oral expression: We will work together to polish your oral expression. I will be there to correct you with respect and help you understand how grammar works with explanations based on cognitive linguistics.
