¿What is Neurolanguage Coaching®?
As the name indicates, Neurolanguage Coaching® (registered US and European trademark in the name of Rachel Marie Paling) encompasses professional coaching principles, neuroscience insights, and emotional intelligence pillars to bring innovation to the traditional language learning process.

Let me explain each term in detail:
Coaching
You probably associate the word coach with sports and relate it to motivation, leadership, challenge, and pushing beyond limits. Sports coaches usually use a directive style of coaching, that is, the one that uses verbal instruction, demand, and direct problem-solving.

Or you might be familiar with life/business coaching that is related to personal or professional goals. Life coaches normally use a non-directive style that helps the coachee discover his/her strengths, encourage him/her to take action, be in the driver´s seat of his/her life, and get to know himself/herself.

Today the term coach can be confusing as it can be used by a wide range of professionals who are experts in their field from years of experience and/or have formal qualifications.
Neuroscience
Neuroscience is a fascinating science that studies the brain. While neuroscience advances and studies reveal how complex, extraordinary, and unique each brain is, we are starting to have a better understanding of how the brain functions, reacts, and learns. Neuroscience insights and discoveries must not stay in the laboratory or be left published in a research paper. We need to bridge neuroscience and education by applying neuroscience principles in the classroom. Teachers and tutors can have a leading role in this process by finding practical and effective ways to integrate neurolanguage pillars in their teaching practices.
Neurolanguage Coaching® is an approach created by Rachel Marie Paling that integrates professional coaching, neuroscientific principles, neuropsychology, and emotional intelligence into the language learning process.
What is a Neurolanguage Coach®?
A Neurolanguage Coach® is certified by the ELC and accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF) and knows how to connect the coaching ethics and standards, competencies, models, goal and action setting as well as the neuroscience principles to the language learning process.
